Key things to note on how can the CRCCs and BRCCs help to ensure smooth book distribution across all schools. Kindly reshuffle the excess/deficit books amongst your cluster/block first and then only ask for extra books

Ujjwal and Utthan program (LEP- Learning Enhancement Program) are introduced with an objective to ensure that students are at grade level competencies and is divided into two phases:
LC- Learning Camp: This is the 40 days of full LEP for all four periods, thus a total of 160 hours of LEP for each student. This year the LC starts on 2nd April and will go on till June
ROY- Rest of Year- this is the phase where the students are supposed to go through ONE period of LEP per day post the learning camp phase. This will continue from July to February. Thus a total of about 120 hours
It is important to note for teachers that LEP is not complete without both LC and ROY
Ujjwal and Utthan are starting in the Learning camp mode from 2nd April. This year the program has seen multiple improvements post collecting feedback from all of you. There are multiple steps being taken to ensure that schools are ready for LEP. Teacher and CRCCs are being trained on the program. There are 16 books for LEP this time and efforts have been made to ensure all schools get all LEP books before 2nd April
How to arrange your classes during Ujjwal and Utthan?
All classes should be sitting according to their learning levels, and books are given to students according to their learning level only- as described.
